Wellness Center announces J-Term 2007 yoga classes in Minneapolis
J-Term yoga classes for St. Thomas students, faculty and staff will meet from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 9, 16, 23 and 30, in Room 347, Terrence Murphy Hall.
Learn to relax your body and mind through the stretching and breathing activities of Hatha yoga. Some typical benefits of this practice include: increased energy, improved flexibility, reduced stress and more restful sleep.
Participants are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing and refrain from eating two hours prior to class. Participants also are asked to bring a towel or mat.
There will be a cost of $24 for the four sessions. Register on the first day of class by writing a check, payable to the yoga instructor, or by paying cash. The drop-in cost is $10 a class. If you drop in, please pay the instructor before class begins.
