Women's center to show 'Journey to Little Rock: The Untold Story of Minnijean Brown Trickey'
The Luann Dummer Center for Women will show the film "Journey to Little Rock: The Untold Story of Minnijean Brown Trickey" on Thursday, March 27.
The film, which will be shown from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Luann Dummer Center for Women (Room 103, OEC) tells the story of her life in Little Rock and follows her life of passionate social activism. A 30-minute discussion will follow the film.
Bring lunch; cookies and beverages will be provided. All are welcome; registration is not required.
Trickey, who in 1957 made history as one of the "Little Rock Nine," delivered the 14th annual Luann Dummer Lecture on March 12 at St. Thomas.
