Ten members of the University of St. Thomas community will leave Thursday, Aug. 11, on a pilgrimage to Portugal and Spain to participate in World Youth Day in Madrid.
The group will travel through Fatima, Santiago de Compostela and Avila before reaching Madrid. World Youth Day, celebrated in a different country every three years, is a worldwide encounter for Catholics with an opportunity to celebrate Mass with the Pope.
