Relax and unwind with gentle midday yoga classes open to St. Thomas students, faculty and staff. The summer session will meet on six Wednesdays, beginning July 10, and run through August 21 (skipping July 24) on the Minneapolis campus.
Classes will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in Terrence Murphy Hall Lower Level Commons. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a mat or firm blanket.
Learn to relax the body and mind through the stretching and breathing activities of Hatha yoga, a gentle practice that provides rest and rejuvenation. Increased energy, improved flexibility, reduced stress and more restful sleep are typical benefits of Hatha yoga.
The cost is $40 for all six sessions or $10 for a drop-in session. Payment is due on the first day of class; cash or checks are accepted. Summer is a great time to sample this gentle yoga class. No experience is necessary.
