Join Heritage Week Service Project Friday at Kids Café in Minneapolis
Join students, faculty and staff for the 2008 Heritage Week Service Project from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 7, at the Kids Café at Powderhorn Park. Dinner is provided.
Participants will leave UST at 4:30 p.m. and head to Powderhorn Park, where they will help prepare and serve dinner to area youth and engage them in a variety of activities.
Kids Café provides dinner to area youth every other Friday at Powderhorn Park. Many of these young people are homeless and rarely receive a nourishing meal or contact from a caring adult. Volunteer at Kids Café to learn more about the Twin Cities community and live the UST conviction of gratitude.
This Heritage Week Service Project is co-sponsored by the Commuter Center, Multicultural Student Services and the Office of International Student Services.
Space is limited; sign up early via e-mail to the Commuter Center or call (651) 962-6138.
