"You're [sic] goal is not that every customer is happy with everything you do, but (realizing that) poor service makes you vulnerable if your competitors boost their customer service," said Lorman Lundsten, chairman of the marketing department at University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and a former bank regulator. Sports columnist Charley (“Shooter”) Walters writes, “Jerry Steffen, 59, a former All-American linebacker at the University of St. Thomas and a much-respected St. Paul policeman for 28 years before retiring, died Wednesday at United Hospital after a courageous fight against leukemia.
