The next event in the Association for Strategic Planning Fall 2009 Breakfast Series will feature Dr. Terry Fitzgerald, senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Fitzgerald will talk on "The Recession in Perspective." He will examine the recession from a variety of perspectives and look ahead at what might be on the horizon for the economy.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast at 7:15 a.m. and the speaker from 7:45 to 9 a.m. in Room 202, Opus Hall, on the Minneapolis campus.
Fitzgerald holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota. His research includes the recession in historical perspective, the economic progress of middle America and the impact of Wal-Mart openings on 9th District county economies.
