Career Fair and Career Services Center Will Be Held at Minneapolis Convention Center March 29 and 30

A professional Career Fair and Career Services Center will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on March 29 and 30 in conjunction with the 28th annual Forum on Workplace Inclusion.

Both the fair and center are free; they are designed for professionals, those who hold or are pursuing a two- or four-year college degree, and veterans.

  • The Career Services Center is available Tuesday, March 29, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Wednesday, March 30 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The center offers clinics to improve interviewing skills, a resume clinic, and elevator and job-search clinics. These one-on-one coaching sessions include free editing and printing of updated resumes. Experts are also on hand who specialize in working with veterans.
  • The Career Fair, featuring 45 corporate employers from the Upper Midwest, runs Wednesday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those attending the fair are encouraged to pre-register so that their resumes can be previewed by fair exhibitors. These exhibiting companies are seeking professionals in all areas of business, engineering and information technology.

Mayo Clinic is the 2016 Career Fair sponsor. The forum is presented by the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas.

For more information on pre-registering as a Career Fair candidate visit the fair’s website.

One of the largest diversity and inclusion conferences in the country, the forum attracts more than 1,200 participants from 35 states and more than 300 companies.
