Dr. Mathew Lu Asks: 'Is There a Specifically Christian Philosophy?'

Dr. Mathew Lu, assistant professor in the Philosophy Department, will speak Tuesday, March 6, at this month’s Philosophy Colloquium.

The presentation, “Is There a Specifically Christian Philosophy?” will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. Everyone is welcome.

Lu will examine the question of whether there is a specifically Christian philosophy. What, if anything, does being a faithful Christian entail for the work of a philosopher? Is there one specific philosophical tradition to which faithful Christian philosophers must belong?
