The Coalition of Multicultural Organizations and STAR present Livin’ in Color Week, five days full of events Monday through Friday, May 2-6. The week is intended to promote awareness of the different cultures on campus and to celebrate the uniqueness each brings to St. Thomas.
Livin’ in Color Week:
- Monday, May 2 – Asian Culture Show, 6-8 p.m. in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium
- Tuesday, May 3 – African drum and dance lessons, 7-9 p.m. in Scooter’s, Murray-Herrick Campus Center
- Wednesday, May 4 – Hip Hop Concert, 7-9:30 p.m. in Scooter’s, Murray-Herrick Campus Center
- Thursday, May 5 – cooking lessons, 8-9:30 p.m. in Scooter’s, Murray-Herrick Campus Center
- Friday May 6
- Celebrating Differences, 6-7:30 p.m. in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium
- Ebony Mic Night, 7:30-11 p.m. in Scooter’s, Murray-Herrick Campus Center
Free T-shirts will be given out at each event, and prizes will be awarded at Ebony Mic Night. (Prizes and T-shirt eligibility is based on stamp cards.) Students receive stamps by attending the week’s events; you must have a stamp card in order to receive T-shirts and prizes. Pick up stamp cards in Murray-Herrick Campus Center at:
