Step by step, work continues on the Anderson Student Center.
In an end-of-the-month progress report, Opus Design Build notes that the grand atrium staircase is taking shape, exterior building construction work continues with the stone masonry 95 percent complete, and interior construction continues throughout the building on all levels.
Further details and pictures of the progress are available on Opus' April progress report.
The Anderson Student Center is being built with the help of a $60 million gift to the Opening Doors campaign from St. Thomas trustee Lee Anderson and his wife, Penny. The building is named in their honor.
