Undergrads: Submit Applications for June 2013 Study Abroad Courses by March 1

The Study Abroad office is offering three diverse courses designed especially for undergraduate students:

Topics in Ecology and Culture in Korea

  • With a focus on understanding the diverse ecological systems in northeastern Asia and the impact of humans on them, Topics in Ecology and Culture in Korea will include visits to six different ecosystems, conducting independent experiments and collaborating with local students.

Management 480 in London and Ireland

  • This course draws on concepts from the entire business curriculum to view the organization as a whole. It examines the development of core competence and a sustainable competitive advantage as part of an organization’s strategic-planning process.

The Church in Latin America in Guatemala

  • Study Christian theology and practice in a context of the great struggle for human dignity. Students will study the experiences of Guatemalan churches in the 20th century – on location in the Guatemalan highlands.
