Dr. Michael Mikolajczak to serve as interim director of Aquinas Scholars Honors Program

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Michael Mikolajczak, professor, Department of English, has agreed to serve as interim director of the Aquinas Scholars Honors Program for the 2007-2008 academic year.
Mikolajczak has been involved with the program since his first semester at St. Thomas in 1989. Mikolajczak began his service as interim director on July 1, 2007.
I am grateful to Dr. Lon Otto, professor, Department of English, for the excellent leadership he provided to the program as interim director from January through June 2007, and especially for his leadership in preparing a self-study for a scheduled program review that will take place during the fall 2007 semester.
A search for the next director will be conducted after the program review in the fall, with the director taking charge of the program in July 2008.
