Four free lunch-hour stress-reduction sessions to be held in April

From the Wellness Center

Who wouldn’t want their lunches to be free of stress?

All students, faculty and staff are welcome to come to four free and different one-hour sessions of mindfulness meditation and gentle movement. The sessions will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on four Thursdays, April 6, 13, 20 and 27, in the Fireside Room, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

Take some time to renew, refresh and rejuvenate. Participants will be guided through exercises that will leave them feeling physically, emotionally and intellectually rejuvenated.

These sessions are sponsored by the Wellness Center. In addition, the center is sponsoring an eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program to begin on Tuesday, April 4 (see the Bulletin Today story published on March 14).

For more information on the individual sessions or the eight-week program of mindfulness programs, send an e-mail to the Wellness Center.
