Information session on graduate program in art history is Feb. 1

The University of St. Thomas will hold an information session for prospective students on Thursday, Feb. 1, about its Master of Arts in Art History program. The free session begins at 6 p.m. in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center.

Students from a variety of disciplines are invited to learn about the program’s faculty, students and alumni, degree and nondegree courses of study, admission and application requirements, fellowship and assistantship opportunities, course content and interdisciplinary opportunities for graduate art history students.

Learn more about this innovative graduate program in which students define their research agenda from a curriculum that is global in its approach and taught by a faculty that encourages collaboration.

The 12-course M.A. program admitted its first students in 1998. The program provides professional preparation for academic, museum and teaching careers in art history.
