Interested in spring Weight Watchers?

The current nine-week session of Weight Watchers on the St. Paul campus comes to an end Thursday, Feb. 4, and a spring session is gearing up – pending continued interest.

Interested but still need more information? Weight Watchers will hold a free open house for all students, faculty and staff from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, in Room LL12, Koch Commons. Sit in on an actual meeting, meet participants and the university's Weight Watchers representative, and receive answers to your questions.

The Wellness Center and will offer discounts to students. For those interested in joining now, the remaining sessions in the current program are open for pay-as-you-go enrollment.

For the spring program, all members must sign up for the 12-week series or the 17-weeks series – only one of the two options will be conducted.

12-week series:

eTools is the Weight Watchers online application. Members can use it to
track daily points, look up the points of foods, find recipes, restaurant
points, exercise tips, and chat online with other Weight Watchers members.

Members can pay in one lump sum by cash, check, or credit card, or they can
pay in three equal installments by check. Note: All checks should be dated
Feb. 11, 2010 (the first day of the new series.)

New members need to fill out a registration card. Members who are continuing from the current series do not have to fill out a new registration card.

Those who are interested but unable to attend Thursday's open house meeting can attend the regular meeting on Feb 4; however, attendance at an open house session is not required.
