Jewish human rights activist to speak April 5

Jewish human rights activist Edmund ("Ned") Hanauer will give a talk titled "U.S. Policy, Terrorism, Human Rights and Palestine/Israel" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, in Room 126 (auditorium), John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.

The talk is free and open to the public.

Hanauer is founder and director of Massachusetts-based SEARCH for Justice and Equality in Palestine/Israel, a national nonprofit organization founded in 1972. Its mission is “to improve American media coverage of the Arab-Israeli conflict by disseminating information about the issue and by urging journalists to cover the conflict accurately and to support a just peace in their editorials.” Learn more about SEARCH here.
