Library today: Refworks to the rescue!
From the UST Libraries
Whether you want to produce a bibliography and references to document your academic research or create a reading list for that elusive free time, RefWorks is the tool for you. Sign up for a free, Web-based RefWorks account, and automatically begin capturing and storing references to journal articles, books and Web sites. When you’re ready to prepare a bibliography or incorporate references into a paper, choose your style (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) and let RefWorks format it for you.
To get started, visit the UST Libraries Web page, click on the RefWorks link in the toolbar on the left, and create an account. Questions? Call the reference desk at your home library.
ScienceDirect is database of the week
The UST libraries are continuing to highlight titles from our online database collection in order to introduce or remind patrons that these resources are available from across the campus and remote locations. The database for this week is ScienceDirect, which provides access to a collection of 1,200 scholarly journal titles, 600 of which are full text.
While ScienceDirect is strongest in science, technology and engineering, it also contains titles in economics, psychology, education, business and sociology. There are many ways to use ScienceDirect because patrons may search this database with keywords or browse by subject or journal title.
For more information on accessing and using this or any other UST library resource, please call either the O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center reference desk, (651) 962-5001, or the Charles J. Keffer Library reference desk, (651) 962-4664.
