Listening House Silent Auction Information Session Set for Sunday

Looking for a Business 200 service site, or do you just want to help a worthy cause? It’s time to start planning the 12th annual Listening House Silent Auction. Every year a group of St. Thomas students organize and host a silent auction for Listening House, a homeless shelter in downtown St. Paul.

An information session will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, in Room 215, McNeely Hall. To reserve a spot at the session email Justin Lind.

Students will be given the opportunity to join a legacy of more than 300 St. Thomas students who have raised over $250,000 for Listening House. They will do everything from planning and budgeting to hosting the auction while gaining experience in community partnership work, group development, project management decision making, budget development and evaluation methods.

Can’t make the meeting but want to be involved? Email Lind for more information.
