'Why Best Buy Is Betting on Female Customers and Employers' topic of Master's Pub Friday

Angela Chambliss, senior manager for Best Buy’s women’s leadership forum (WOLF), will speak at the Master’s Pub: Business Conversations series Friday, Feb. 19.

Graduate business students are invited to this session from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 201, Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus. Light food and beverages will be available.

Chambliss’ role includes creating strategy for marketing WOLF internally and externally while creating awareness and driving global opportunity for women at all levels of Best Buy’s business – from Blue Shirts in Best Buy’s stores to female executives. She also is charged with building business strategies to better serve female customers and for communicating results to the organization, showing WOLF’s direct impact on the business.

In her former role as deployment project manager, Chambliss was responsible for managing the Entertainment Operating Group store remodels. Before coming to Best Buy full time in June 2004, she served as a summer intern in the Best Buy College Internship program. She also recently served on the WOLF Pack in Dallas, Texas, as the finance WOLF.
