The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 201, Opus Hall, on the Minneapolis campus. Light food and beverages will be available.

Klinger was previously the director of marketing for the RiverCentre event complex in St. Paul and director of marketing at Ticketmaster. In his 12th season with the Twins, the organization has just finished its third-best attendance mark ever.

He has managed unique events such as an Opening Day tribute to the late Twins' great Kirby Puckett, featuring Minnesota soldiers tossing the team’s ceremonial first pitch live via satellite from a Kuwaiti desert. The Twins' 2008 advertising campaign was recognized widely as one of the best in professional sports. “This is Twins Territory” picked up regional Emmy awards for best campaign and best commercial spot.
