Math Resource Center and Computer Lab open for spring
The Mathematics Resource Center (MaRC) and the Mathematics Computer Lab
(MCL) have opened for spring. When traversing through south campus in the general vicinity of O'Shaughnessy Science Hall, proceed with caution as there is math help ahead!
Drop-in tutoring for math courses 100 through 200 is available from noon to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, from noon to 2 p.m. Fridays, and from 5 to 9 p.m. Sundays in the MaRC, Room 235, O’Shaughnessy Science Hall.
Copies of textbooks, solution manuals and other resources can be used with a student ID. The MaRCites (math tutors) are working to help construct new math solutions and ideas.
The MCL, located in Room 214, O’Shaughnessy Science Hall, has staff available to support math students with drop-in help with mathematics software, especially Mathematica, from 6 to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays. Look for Mike and Phil.
