Meet three candidates for director of Diversity Initiatives position
The Search Committee for the position of director of Diversity Initiatives has nearly completed its work and is bringing to campus three finalists for the position -- the first on Tuesday, June 28.
The committee had over 50 applicants for the position. They narrowed the candidates down to six very competent individuals with whom they did phone interviews. Now, we would like the community to meet each of the three finalists.
The schedules are the same for each candidate. There will be open sessions from 2 to 3 p.m. in Room 102, O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center (St. Paul campus), and from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Room 450, Terrence Murphy Hall (Minneapolis campus), on the following days:
- Dr. Virginia Allery, Tuesday, June 28
- Dr. Lawrence Potter, Wednesday, June 29
- Steven Clark, Tuesday, July 5
There will be feedback forms for you to help assess the strengths of each finalist. The Search Committee and I welcome your comments. Resumes will be available at the sessions and online.
I would like to thank the Search Committee members for their excellent work in bringing our finalists to campus:
