May 1: Listen to New Poetry at Launch Event

Be among the first to enjoy two new poetry collections by Dr. David Gardiner and Dr. Thomas Dillon Redshaw. The poets will read from their works, answer questions, and sign books after the reading. Both authors are well known for their teachings about Ireland and its rich culture. The free event is May 1 at 7 p.m. in the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library Leather Room. The Selim Center for Lifelong Learning, the Luann Dummer Center for Women, and the Center for Irish Studies are co-sponsoring the event.

Celebrate the inaugural semester of Schoenecker Center as we officially dedicate the university's new central home for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) education. After the dedication ceremony, Schoenecker Center will be open to explore. Be inspired as you experience projects, demonstrations and hands-on learning presented by students and faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering. The dedication ceremony on south campus is Wednesday, May 8, at 4 p.m.
