Office of International Student Services hires assistant director

Sarah Ligday has been selected for the assistant director position in the Office of International Student Services (OISS). She will begin her duties Aug. 1.

Ligday has a master's degree in college student personnel from the University of Dayton and a bachelor's degree in Spanish and international studies from the University of Minnesota.

Most recently Ligday was an international student adviser at the University of California-Davis. She also served as the program coordinator in the Working Professional MBA program there.

"Sarah has had international experiences in Mexico and the Azores Islands of Portugal," said Deborah Knaust, director of OISS. "Her knowledge of international student issues and personal experiences overseas make her an ideal fit for the Office of International Student Services.
