‘Palestinians and Israelis: Conflict, Grief and Peace-Making’ program planned Monday evening

A program about an Israeli and Palestinian group of bereaved parents who have lost family members due to violence will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 22, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 700 South Snelling Ave.

The program, free and open to the public, is sponsored by Gloria Dei, Mount Zion Temple and the Islamic Center of Minnesota. Co-sponsors are the Jay Phillips Center for Interfaith Learning at the University of St. Thomas and the St. Paul Interfaith Network.

Excepts will be shown from “Encounter Point,” a documentary film about a peace group that is composed of Israeli and Palestinian parents who have lost loved ones due to Middle East violence.

Facilitators will guide table discussions after the film has been shown.  No registration is required. For more information, call Gloria Dei at (651) 699-1378.
