Todd Solow, a partner at Norwest Equity Partners, will speak at the Investment Club meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.22, in Room 108, McNeely Hall. The campus community is invited to attend free of charge. Food will be provided.
The topic of the presentation will center on private equity, the niche of Norwest Equity Partners and Solow’s career path.
Solow focuses on management buyouts, recapitalizations and growth financings primarily within the consumer products and services, and business and financial services industries. He is responsible for performing due diligence and managing correspondence with legal counsel, other professionals and company management. In addition, Solow’s previous commercial banking experience allows him to effectively manage the financing process for transactions.
Prior to joining NEP in 2003, Solow worked for four years for an asset-based lender focusing on senior financing facilities for middle-market companies. He then was employed by First Union Securities in its Financial Sponsor Coverage Group, where he prepared detailed analyses of numerous financial sponsors and developed financing and acquisition ideas for private equity clients.
Solow holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
