For years, printed materials were the standard way that MBA programs communicated with prospective students about the features and benefits of their programs. In the past decade, the Web has supplanted print materials as a way to convey information for many reasons. MBA programs can provide much more detail on the Web; they can update information immediately, and they can interact with prospective students via e-mail and social media.
As useful and convenient as web sites are for conducting research about MBA programs and learning about admission requirements, even the best web site cannot replace a visit to campus. Every school has a different "feel," and prospective students need to know if the programs they're considering will be a good match for their interests, personalities, and learning styles.
The our graduate programs hold information sessions on campus on a regular basis. At each session, admissions staff will discuss program features, the application process, and the admission review process. Each session also features a Q&A session where any prospective student can ask questions about the program. The admissions team is always available after each session to answer questions one-on-one that you may prefer not to ask during the information session.
Since most of our prospective students are working professionals, the majority of our information sessions are held on weekday evenings or Saturdays for your convenience. And because we feel so strongly that information sessions are valuable for prospective students, the Full-time and Evening MBA programs waive the $60 application fee for all applicants who attend an information session prior to applying.
If you're considering a graduate business degree at UST, we look forward to seeing you on campus soon. You can view the schedule of upcoming information sessions for all graduate business programs at the Opus College of Business and register online here.
