Jenny Kallas, a longtime staff member at the O'Shaughnessy Library, passed away on July 28 at the age of 99. She worked in the Listening Center (a part of the Audiovisual Department), which was housed in the O’Shaughnessy Library from 1964–70. Jenny joined the Circulation Department of the O’Shaughnessy Library in 1970. She retired in 1991 as the head of the department. She continued to serve as a substitute in circulation for several years after that. Her son, Eric Kallas, recently retired from working at the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library. He worked at the library from 1985 until May 2021.
