Please remember in your prayers John Giebenhain, M.D., who died Wednesday, Oct. 27. Giebenhain, 91, was the father of Dr. Jean Giebenhain, Psychology Department, as well as St. Thomas graduates John Giebenhain, ’74 D.D.S., and Mary Robinson, ’85 M.A.P.S., and the grandfather of Stephen Robinson, ’92 M.D., Kayti Robinson ’93, Anne Pazandak ’98, and freshman Susha Berg.
Dr. John Giebenhain practiced medicine from 1945 to 1984 and established North Clinic in Robbinsdale. He served as chief of staff at North Memorial Hospital in 1957.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Church of St. Margaret Mary, 2323 Zenith Ave. N., Golden Valley. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway.
