Please remember in your prayers Kusum Bhalla, 81, who died Saturday, Oct. 9, in Little Elm, Texas, following a brief battle with cancer. She was the mother of Dr. Rama Kaye Hart, College of Applied Professional Studies.
A cremation in the Hindu tradition was held Tuesday, Oct. 12, and a memorial service (“Kriya") will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, in Little Elm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Greater Dallas Arya Samaj Cancer Clinic, which provides cancer screening and treatment to the uninsured in the Dallas area.
