Please remember in your prayers Tamara Brennan, 69, who died recently at her Florida home.
Tamara and her husband, Bernard, were major benefactors of the University of St. Thomas. Their portrait is painted in fresco in the Hall of Founders in Terrence Murphy Hall, the first building on the university’s downtown Minneapolis campus.
A native of St. Paul, Tamara graduated from St. Catherine University. She was an elementary school teacher and active in community organizations. Bernard graduated from St. Thomas in 1964. A longtime CEO of Montgomery Ward, he received the St. Thomas Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1991 and served on the Board of Trustees from 1986 to 1996.
