Dr. Ann Ryan, School of Education, and Dr. Skip Nolan, Graduate Department of Professional Psychology, are the authors of an article, "Psychosocial Adjustment Factors of Postsecondary Students With Learning Disabilities," in the Journal of College Student Psychotherapy. The article reports the results of one study in a series of investigations on the topic of students with learning disabilities in higher education. The results of this study support a general conclusion that college students with learning disabilities differ from their nondisabled peers in terms of lower levels of awareness, acceptance and expression of some affective characteristics.
