UST students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate Relay For Life kickoff week, today through Friday, Feb. 11. The Relay For Life will be held from 7 p.m. Saturday, April 30, to 7 a.m. Sunday, May 1, in the Anderson Athletic Complex field house.
Two information sessions about the event are scheduled this week:
- 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, in Room 180, McNeely Hall, or
- 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, in Room 152, McNeely Hall
If you are unable to attend an information session but would like to learn more about Relay For Life, e-mail Matt Ellenberger.
Colleges Against Cancer also will host tables today, Tuesday, Feb. 8, outside the north entrance of the cafeteria, and Thursday, Feb. 10, outside of The Grill to answer questions and help register teams for the relay.
Relay For Life is a 12-hour celebration in which people form teams to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The night of the event, teams keep in mind those affected by cancer as they walk around the track, eat food, listen to music and participate in activities planned throughout the night.
