Please remember Ellen “Connie” Spoo in your prayers. She was the mother of Steve Fritz ’71 and ’78 M.A., director of athletics at St. Thomas; mother-in-law of Bev Fritz ’89 M.A.; and grandmother of their children Joe, Peter ’00 and Maura ’02.
She died Monday, Apr. 21 in Rochester. Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 23 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, and an hour before the 11 a.m. Thursday funeral service, also at the funeral home.
