Republican National Convention may affect ACTC registration

If you are considering registering for ACTC courses at Hamline or Macalester for the 2008 fall semester, please note the following:
- Hamline and Macalester fall semester classes begin Aug. 27, 2008.
- UST, St. Catherine, and Augsburg fall semester classes begin Sept. 3, 2008.
- UST housing is not available until Aug 29-31, 2008.*
- ACTC buses will run between all schools beginning Aug. 27, 2008.
- UST students who register for ACTC courses at Hamline or Macalester are expected to attend classes scheduled for Aug 27-29, 2008.
* Students who are taking ACTC classes at Hamline or Macalester and living on campus this fall should contact the Office of Residence Life, (651) 962-6470, or stop by Room 106, Koch Commons, to discuss housing accommodations.
Hamline and Macalester decided to start classes earlier this year because of the 2008 Republican National Convention, which is being held Sept. 1-4 in the Twin Cites.
