Residence Hall Association wins prestigious award

This past weekend, members of the Residence Hall Association traveled to South Dakota for the annual conference of the Midwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls, a member of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, which is the largest student-run, nonprofit organization in the country.
In addition to learning new ways of serving today's college resident student, the MACURH conference provided an opportunity for colleges and universities to showcase their residence hall organization and the programs it sponsors.
After an extensive process of submitting a large report on the RHA and its programs and presenting this report at the conference, the UST RHA was awarded the coveted Large School of the Year Award. Please help me in congratulating Matt Mehlhoff and other members of the executive board of the RHA who wrote the report, presented at the conference and have worked tirelessly to put on programs for our resident students.
