SHINE, a campus-based organization of Christian students, will host “One Body,” a Lenten 24-7 prayer vigil that will be held from 11:50 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, to 11:50 p.m. Sunday, March 7, in the Florance Chapel. The Florance Chapel is located in the lower level of the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas.
The theme of “One Body” is drawn from Ephesians 4:2-6, which says: “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.”
“One Body” is open to anyone who wants to spend time in prayer and meditation. Those who participate are asked to offer petitions for Christian unity, the goal of the vigil.
