SIFE, Students In Free Enterprise, will host a lunch and informational meeting starting at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Room 228, McNeely Hall.
SIFE’s mission is to bring together the top leaders of today and tomorrow to create a better, more sustainable world through the positive power of business. UST SIFE competes in a regional competition every year where it presents projects meant to empower people in need by applying business and economic concepts.
Last year the team advanced to the national competition for the first time. These competitions also feature a job fair, which provides an opportunity for SIFE students to obtain internships or jobs from dozens of SIFE sponsors such as Walgreen’s, Sam’s Club, SuperValu, KPMG, Best Buy and Wells Fargo.
“We’re inviting all students from any major to attend and find out about this great club and opportunities to earn Business 200 credit,” remarked Kylie Gayan, club president.
