Sons of Thunder, Men of the Church square off in ninth annual Rector's Bowl Saturday
The St. Paul Seminary and St. John Vianney College Seminary square off Saturday, Oct. 11, in the ninth annual Rector's Bowl. Kickoff is 7 p.m. in O'Shaughnessy Stadium.
The Sons of Thunder have prevailed against the Men of the Church seven of the past eight years in this touch football classic.
The seminarians welcome friends, family, youth, young adults and vocation supporters of all ages to cheer the teams under the lights. Join in the fellowship, fraternity and football fun.
Supported by SJV's loyal fans, Adam Sullivan, undergraduate seminarian and quarterback, turns the corner in 2007's Rector's Bowl; alas, the Men of the Church have found the promised land of victory just once in the past eight years.
