STAR offers "Wild" and cookin' activities following spring break
Cooking 101 at Mothersauces Cooking School – Monday, March 24
Living away from home, tight budgets and social demands coupled with busy schedules, challenging assignments and late nights make it difficult to eat regular meals, but that's when you need healthy food the most.
STAR presents a trip to a class on Cooking 101 on Monday, March 24, at Mothersauces Cooking School. Learn how to prepare tasty nutritious meals on a tight budget. Students will get a chance to learn cooking basics such as how to make red and white sauces from scratch, how to make simple pan sauces, and how to cook fish and beef.
The bus will leave the arches at 5:45 p.m. and return after the lesson. Only 24 spots are available, so e-mail star@stthomas.edu with your name and UST ID number today to sign up. Sorry, no guests.
Minnesota Wild vs. Edmonton Oilers – Wednesday, March 26
Join STAR Wednesday, March 26, at the Xcel Energy Center as the Minnesota Wild take on the Edmonton Oilers.
The bus will leave the arches at 6 p.m. and return after the game. Tickets can be purchased with UST ID for $10, beginning at noon today, at the Box Office and Expeditions. Hurry in: Only 48 tickets available – one ticket per student. Sorry, no guests.
