Student collects cleaning supplies for Browns Valley flood victims
The city administrator of Browns Valley, Minn., a small, rural community on the South Dakota border, is asking for help, and freshman Dustin Dodge has answered the call.
Browns Valley, about four hours west of the Twin Cities, is in desperate need of cleaning supplies such as bleach, paper towels, toilet paper, brushes, and other cleaning products to clean up after the flood of two weeks ago, according to Dodge.
Donors are asked to drop off supplies in the purple boxes at the entrances to the residence halls or the purple boxes in front of Scooter’s and the Grill.
“Thank you for all of your help, and keep this community in your prayers,” Dodge added.
