Susan Huber named interim dean of the School of Education
I am very pleased to announce that professor Sue Huber has agreed to serve as interim dean of the School of Education for a two-year period beginning July 1. She will replace Miriam Williams, who has served as dean for six years.
Dr. Sue Huber
Dr. Huber is a two-time graduate of St. Thomas, with an M.A. in curriculum and instruction and an Ed.D. in educational leadership. A member of the St. Thomas faculty since 1992, Dr. Huber previously was principal of St. Andrew's School in St. Paul, and dean of continuing education and special programs at St. Mary's College Graduate Center. Within the School of Education, Dr. Huber previously has served as chair of the Teacher Education Department and as associate dean.
As a former teacher of Latin in the Burnsville School District, I am sure Dr. Huber would be pleased to receive your greetings of "Salute!" as she begins her new position as interim dean.
