St. Thomas juniors and seniors are invited to participate in the second annual Tommie Match, a wine-tasting and “speed-networking” event hosted by the Student Legacy Program and the Young Alumni Council. The event will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Cherokee Tavern in West St. Paul.
Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle and network with St. Thomas alumni in a casual environment. The evening will begin with an informative wine-tasting, during which attendees will learn about wine and dinner etiquette in a professional setting. Students will then have the opportunity to find their “Tommie Match” through a few rounds of speed networking.
The event is open to juniors and seniors only, and students must be 21 years of age or older to participate in the wine tasting. (They will receive wristbands at the door.)
There is no charge to attend. Complimentary appetizers will be served, and a cash bar will be available for those with wristbands.
RSVP to Jane Jackelen by Tuesday, Feb. 21. Attendees should dress business casual and bring résumés and/or business cards to share. Order St. Thomas-branded business cards here at low cost through the Student Legacy program.
