Three University of St. Thomas graduate students in art history – who will receive their master’s degrees later this month – will present their research in a forum at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 20, in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium.
The students, their presentations and faculty advisers include:
- Elizabeth Henderson, “Identity and Authenticity: Kehinde Wiley's 'The World Stage: Africa, Lagos-Dakar,'” faculty adviser Dr. Heather Shirey
- Rachel Nelson, “Between Boredom and Anxiety: Experiencing Creativity and Identity in David Salmela's Home,” faculty adviser Dr. Victoria Young
- Timothy Vernig, “Teatro del Popolo: Piazza del Popolo as Theater in the Rome of Alexander VII,” faculty adviser Dr. Robert Ferguson
A reception will follow the research presentations. The event is free and open to the public.
