Here's a roundup of recent St. Thomas mentions of interest in various media. Read the stories by clicking on the links. "Five area schools — Augsburg College, the College of St. Catherine, Hamline University, Macalester College and the University of St. Thomas — continue to pledge to annually match and renew the award amount for any of the recipients who are admitted to and attend their schools. According to this Dublin newspaper, "Only last month [Declan Kiberd] was awarded an honorary degree from the University of St Thomas in Minnesota. Post-colonial studies blossomed in the US in the 1990s and distinguished critics of the Anglo-Irish oeuvre are highly prized Stateside.
