The St. Paul Chamber of Commerce has given a “Celebrate Business Success” Award to the University of St. Thomas.
The chamber presented the award at its May 25 membership luncheon to Father Dennis Dease, president, “in recognition of business leadership and best practices that enhance the economic vitality of the St. Paul/East Metro area.” The chamber also congratulated St. Thomas on celebrating its 125th anniversary this year.
The award is co-sponsored by the chamber and Moore, Costello & Hart, a St. Paul-based law firm. Patrick Plunkett, managing partner of the firm, and his colleague Susan Kratz, who also serves as chair of the chamber’s board this year, presented the award to Dease.
