UST, St. John's-St. Ben's compete in Up 'til Dawn fundraiser
Two competitions will unfold in O'Shaughnessy Stadium on Saturday: one on the football field between the Tommies and the Johnnies, and one between the schools' Up 'til Dawn teams to see which can raise the most money for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The action begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in O'Shaughnessy Stadium.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases at no cost to their families and is a leader in research.
Football fans attending the game are asked to bring spare cash and change to contribute to UtD. The teams collecting the donations also will sell wristbands. The money will go to the respective UtD schools to count toward their final donation to the kids of St. Jude.
