What you can do with an English major!
Have you been wondering what to do with your degree in English after graduation? Get answers to your questions at a panel discussion from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, in Room 108, O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center.
Four professionals will discuss how they began their careers after graduating from UST. They also will talk about the challenges, opportunities and surprises they encountered along the way. Students are encouraged to bring their questions about career options for English majors.
The guest panelists include:
- Rolph Blythe, marketing director, Graywolf Press
- Jim Buchta, reporter, Star Tribune
- Caley Conney, associate, Giving Program, The Toro Company
- Alex Knopick, vice president of institutional sales-New York City, Craig Hallum Capital Group
Light refreshments will be served.
