All invited to today's picnic celebration and scholarship announcement
Students, staff and faculty are reminded that a free picnic and scholarship announcement will be held today on the University of St. Thomas' main campus.
All members of the St. Thomas community are welcome. The free picnic will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lower quadrangle's Foley Plaza.
Father Dennis Dease, president, will announce the largest single gift for scholarships in University of St. Thomas history at a short program that will begin at about noon on Foley Plaza.
In case of rain, the picnic will be served in Coughlan Field House.
Scooter's, the Grill and the Student Dining Room -- the three locations on the main campus where food is served -- will be closed while the picnic is in progress. Binz Refectory will remain open all day, however, on the south campus.
